Working Horses

Grazing Camp Horse. We went to deliver supplies to one of our herders, taking groceries, dog food, grain and hay. The horse pictured was fat and happy, the herders rotate the horses and ride a different one every day, so each horse gets a break. He just stood watching us while we unloaded all the supplies to the camp. Enjoy!
This newborn baby colt was laying in the sunshine, stretching and rolling around. When he stood up he shook himself off, looked directly at me and yawned! It seemed to me that he was laughing at me watching him! Enjoy!
Camp Horse
Old Camp Horse in Color - This Camp Horse was waiting patiently standing ground tied, waiting for the Sheepherders to finish their lunch and the sheep to rest weary feet. Everyone has a job in this nomadic life, the horse, sheep, herd dogs and guard dogs all coexist together to make life easier. Enjoy!
