Storm Clouds - These storm clouds rolled in right on top of us one day while moving a Sheep Camp across the desert. They were so dark and ominous, the thunder that accompanied them was really impressive. Being in the middle of nowhere we thought we might be in trouble getting stuck in mud, but we made it out to the paved road before it started to rain hard! Boy did we get lucky that day. Enjoy!
Winter Sunset - This winter day was about fifteen degrees below zero, the air its self was blue and frosty all day long, when the sun started to set the resulting sunset was too beautiful to miss. Enjoy!
Sunset over Lake - Beautiful lake in the daytime, but look what happened as the sun set behind it. Enjoy!
Alfalfa-Fescue and Bales - Looking through the tall native grass intermingled with alfalfa at the round bales that have already been wrapped. Enjoy!
Storm and Light Windmills - As the storm rolled in above the ranch, spears of light pierced through the clouds and illuminated the windmills standing along the ridge. Enjoy!
Windmill Soldiers - Having the windmills on our ranch has been a great learning experience! We have watched as these great giants have grown from safebrush flats to energy producing sentinels that stand watch. Enjoy!
This beautiful sight was the first snow of the year that had covered the fall trees; an old rail fence with sparking delight. Enjoy!
We arrived at the camp before sunrise to move the sheep herd. While hooking up the camp to the truck and getting men and horses ready to more down the trail, the sun crested the mountain top and lit up the new snow and all the aspen trees! Enjoy!
