Highway Trail. We herd our sheep down the major highway from the winter desert range to the high mountain summer range. This is a great view of all the lambs and ewes headed to higher pasture. Enjoy!!

Fat Lamb - This spring Lamb was placed out on the alfalfa patch after haying, within a week he was so fat that he wouldn’t even get up and out of the way for truck. Enjoy!
Sheep with Lambs - This picture for us was an affirmation of continued life. Mother sheep and lambs together, fat and well fed while basking in the sun unharmed and at peace with nature. What more can you ask for? Enjoy!
Spring Lambs on Alfalfa Patch- We placed the spring lambs out on the alfalfa sprinkler patch after the fall haying: and then these lambs got so fat that they waddled through the field! Enjoy!
Lunch Break. Trailing a herd of sheep from winter pastures to summer pastures is a lot of hard work for the herders, owner/operators and sheep. We try to walk them slow and steady while giving them "lunch breaks" throughout the day. Enjoy!
This two-day old Angus calf thought it was a lot of fun to play in the feed. He had been bucking and jumping around when he realized that I stood there taking his picture! He eventually played himself out, lay down on the row of hay and basked in the sun. Enjoy!
Weather in Wyoming is unpredictable to say the least. Start your calving program and it is sure to snow! This little guy was born in a six-inch storm that was very wet and cold. Good thing his mommy loved him very much. You can't get much cuter than this. Enjoy!
Newborn Branded Calf - This Red Bally calf had been branded right before this photograph was taken, his ears were bleeding from the earmark, and he had just been vaccinated and castrated. He lay down near the fence to watch all the other calves go through the same process. Enjoy!
Lambs on alfalfa sprinkler patch in fall snowstorm - While the lambs were grazing an early fall snowstorm blew in while they continued to push forward through the alfalfa patch. Enjoy!
