| Lacee Sims has been following her husband Shaun around his fifth-generation ranch in Southwest Wyoming for the last 14 years photographing everything and anything she sees! Lacee and Shaun have three daughters and one grand-daughter. Their youngest daughter spends her summers working alongside Dad on the ranch.
Lacee was raised in the city and now enjoys the wide-open spaces of country life which is her inspiration to photograph the ranching lifestyle.
After compiling thousands of photographs in just a few years, she began to frame her prints and give them as gifts. Entering her prints in photo contests and receiving recognition and awards, she started donating her prints to Wyoming Conservation District auctions. Encouraged by the reception that the photographs received Lacee began to expand on her idea of “Capturing Real Wyoming Life!” She had sold several more prints before even starting to market them as Leather-N-Lace Photography.
Focusing on the agricultural lifestyle, she has tried to fully encompass the everyday life, sights and wonders that she has found on the wide open prairie’s of Wyoming.
